Woohoo!!

A friend at work wanted to see yellow on my nails this week, and who am I to deny a mate?!

I've wanted to try the paint drip design for awhile now and thought tonight was the night!
Not too shabby, considering my darling daughter was at my side bumping me while I did the drips!

Let me know what you think!

Night all

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!!

My mani tonight, (which I think turned out awesome!!) is my first ever try at newspaper print nails, over a gradient.

I got a bit impatient when it was time to do the newspaper part so the polish slid on my nail, so that's a lot a bit disappointing, but I'm surprisingly ok with it!! My OCD must be relaxing a bit tonight! Lol

I'm super impressed that something so simple can look so awesome!
So for those that haven't seen this technique before, all you need are some dry painted nails, some nail size squares of newspaper, some vodka, tweezers and a top coat!!

Put your precut squares of newspaper into an egg cup sized, bowl half filled with vodka, make sure your nails are dry and after your newspaper has been soaking in the vodka for 10 seconds or so, use some tweezers to grab each bit of paper and place onto your nail, hold down (trying not to move the paper) for about 10 seconds. Remove paper, let dry then top coat!

I mean super super easy!!!
I hope you like them!! Make sure you let me know what you think!

Oh and for those that are local to Moranbah, don't forget the Moranbah Markets are on this Sunday the 24th of March at Town Square in Moranbah, starting about 8ish, so come on down and come see all the new stuff I have and let me talk your ear off about nail polish!! Lol

Good night folks!

St Patrick's Day is almost upon us and my Mum is really getting into the swing of things!

Another St Pat's inspired mani has been completed...

Wola!! I present "Nan's St Patricks Day Nails Part 2!!"

She's not sold on them yet but says they are growing on her!

Still not perfect yet but i'm pretty impressed with my efforts!

I used my "Stripe Rite Nail Art" colours for the greens, white and black, I did a top coat of China Glaze "Fairy Dust" for a bit of bling, a Konad shamrock stamp and topped it all off with China Glaze Fast Forward top coat.

I can see the flaws and imperfections but i'm still diggin it! And I don't even like green!
My daughter was going to get the same design but with pink, purple and white with a heart stamp instead of the shamrock, but she changed her mind, maybe next time mum!!

I hope you like the mani, and if you'd like to throw me a challenge, I may just accept!

Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any tips or suggestions, i'd love to hear!!

Good night for now :)

Soooo simple but so awesome!!

"Avant Garden Collection - Pink-ie Promise" and "Glitz Collection - Razzle Me, Dazzle Me"

I just love it!! I get a new favourite everytime I try something new!

If I keep going, I'll just gush more!

Enough said! Lol :-)
Can you see the light reflecting off the glitter on my ring finger??
I loved it so much I even did my toes the same! That NEVER happens!!

Pic was taken pre clean up, so don't mind the mess! Also getting to my toes is much harder than it used to be! Lol
I'll be doing some more St Patricks day nails tomorrow for mum, so fingers crossed my idea works!!

Let me know what you'd like to see for my next mani

Goodnight and wish me luck for the Troppo Markets tomorrow!

Happy Hump Day!!!

Lots of changes coming my way very soon but one thing that won't change is a midweek mani!!

Nice and simple, but lovely and colourful!

Colours are Funday Sunday from the Avant Garden Collection with a coat of Fairy Dust for some slight bling!

Let me know what you think!

Sorry for being a bit blog friendly today but I just gotta share!!!

My first actual full 2 hand Water Marble Mani!!

It's far from perfect but that's not dampening my enthusiasm or excitement!!

I can't tell you how many hours over the past few months I have spent trying to do this!! Needless to say its been lots! Plus time spent watching YouTube videos on how to master it, and today ladies and gentlemen, but mostly ladies, I HAVE DONE IT!!!

It's only up hill from here!!!

Thanks for reading!!!!

Good Afternoon!!

So here's the scene, my mum is 1 of the 2 posties in our small town, and the 2 lady posties like to decorate their bikes and themselves with whatever theme it is, so love hearts were the flavour for Valentines in February and horses for Melbourne Cup day in November etc. and I help out by doing my mum's nails.

We just finished doing "I'm With The Lifeguard" green from the "Summer Neons Collection" with "Liquid Leather" black shamrocks with a little diamonte in the middle of the shamrock on the ring fingers.

Now, these were NOT Konad stamping plates just some cheap ones I picked up off of eBay ages ago, but they came out awesome!!

Perfect stamper I am not, so any imperfections are purely my fault and not the stamp plates!
Above is a close up so you can see how precise the stamps turned out! It's a bit blurry but the lighting in my house is terrible and I was just using my iPhone 5 as a camera, plus I was super excited that they turned out so well!!

Well, off to do my nails now, I"m tossing up between a gradient or a water marble, both of which I am bad at, but practice makes perfect!

Any colour suggestions for me?

HAve a great day!!

Good Evening!!

My daughter, Taleah, had a friends party today so any excuse to get dolled up!!

She chose the outfit and we painted the nails to match.

CUUUUUUUTE!!

Trying to get an excited 4 year old to sit still so I can stamp her nails?... Not gonna happen!! Lol

But they turned out not too bad, Taleah loves them and I guess that's all that matters!

Don't mind my grubby finger! lol
I don't sell the stamping sets but I wonder what you all would think if I did get them in?
Picture

Here's the one i'm looking at to get, Not certain of a price yet but maybe between $25 - $30?

I did a quick search on eBay and the cheapest I could find on there was well over $30!!

They're great fun, easy for those of us not that good at free hand nail art and you can use nail polishes you already own!

Anyone interested?

Have an awesome night everyone :)
